It’s important to keep in mind that each of us is doing the very best we can at this moment. If we knew better, if we had more understanding and awareness, we would do things differently. But since we are doing our best, we need to appreciate ourselves for our efforts. Forgiveness for ourselves and each other is key, and I work on that compassionate practice this month.
請牢記我們都已盡了在此當下所能做的最大努力了。當然,我們若能知道有更好的做法,對事情有更多的了解與覺察,我們也許會有完全不同的做法,但我們也必須了解,我們已經盡了最大的努力,我們必須為自己全然的付出表達自我感謝,拋掉對自己與他人這些額外的苛責是很重要的,這是我在這個月裡,不斷針對同理心與慈悲心的練習的關鍵。
